Salary: Up to $77,480
Benefits

• Upon successful completion of a police academy you will achieve Police Officer Step 1 status including all the benefits allotted under the Albany Police Officer’s Association MOU as follows:
Retirement:
• PERS (PEPRA) (2.7% at 57)

Work Schedule / Assignments
• 12 hours per day work schedule with partial weekends off
• Work three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the next week
• Specialty Schedule 4/10
• Night Shift Differential - 5%
• Bilingual Incentive - 2%
Specialty Assignments include:
• Detective - 4%
• FTO - 5% while training
• Motors
• Crisis Response Unit (HNT & Tactical Response Team)
